Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Posted on December 21, 2013 by Wenche Angelinn

Hi everyone!

It's about one year since I started Norway Nails and I just wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone who has helped me on the way. The shop opened on the 4th of February 2013 - but I did start working with the shop approximately in the beginning of November last year. At this point last year, supplies were already starting to come in and the first work with the website were done. To be honest I did not expect that the shop would be so popular and there would be so many customers from all over the world. It's been a lot more work than I expected and even when I didn't think I would manage the workload, I did with a lot of help from my family and friends. After about 2000 orders, a lot more polish bottles, bubble wrapping and ziplocks, enormous amounts of ribbon and tissue paper later, let's say - it's been a great year and I hope that 2014 will be even greater!

There will be some minor changes in the beginning of 2014. I will make a post about that later.

I would like to thank all the suppliers, the independant makers, the bloggers and last but not least of course the customers!

Especially I would like to mention, Lynn & Paul of Lynnderella who believed in me all the way to give me the exclusivity to spread the wonderful brand across Europe. I have loved spreading the Lynnderella Love over here!

To Nicole from Australia (Lilypad Lacquer) and Sarey from the United States (Chaos & Crocodiles) for being not only awsome people, but also friends that you can talk to when you need. Sometime time difference are good, because when everybody else are sleeping there are always someone up on the other side of the world.

Hayley, Adina, Sophie, Chelsea, Jules, Kaz  - thank you for dealing with me through 2013 and we hope to stay in touch for the next year and further.

To Amy - you just need to be mentioned in this situation. Thank you for bringing me so much packages filled with goodies (Both edible and not) from the United States!

To Laurie - For giving me a little bit of France and some wonderful bracelets!

To Marte who have gon through a huge amount of pictures and edited them and also teached me how to do better swatches. I could not have done this so good if it were not for you :)  Hope you are coming visiting us sometime again!

To everyone who understand my crazy penguin obsession and has sent me penguin things from all over the world!

And of course, to Ellinor and Johnny for helping me, through the enormous amounts of polish that has been unpackaged and packaged up again.
Even if the house are filled with polish there still are always room left for love :)

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With Love
